I went in the most violet moshpit of my life on saturday, pushed the muscle up over the bone in my wrist which is fine now.

But my ribs hurt every time I stand up, and now I'm getting stomach cramps and reckon I'm close to vomiting. Could these things (or just generally being twatted about) be linked or have I got the virus that's going around?

I know it's not big or clever, I basically just need someone to tell me whether I should be going to A&E for a ruptured spleen or something.

At the very least you'd call NHS direct , who will invariably tell you to go to hospital.

That's the point, hospital is a long way away, and I would have to wake someone up to get there.

If I don't have to go then I don't want to, which is why I'm not just going on the offchance/calling NHS direct

I would say A+E, The least you have done is muscle contusions (bruising) for which they will prescribe strong painkillers as it has been known to affect breathing depth.

The most... cant possible say, probably depends on what the symptoms are....its highly unlikely its your spleen. Splenic injuries usually bring on bouts of shock... so just get yourself checked for the ribs mate
