Next week we will see London brought to a standstill. Havoc will be created by the usual mob of dirty, filthy, workshy hippies. Many 'evil' multi-national businesses will get trashed (Mcdonald's is usually a favourite) by these imbeciles. This will all be done as a protest against capitalism and globalization and lots of other big words that they don't understand and probably can't even spell! Just wondered if anyone was going or had any views on the subject?

I work on Whitehall.

Yesterday evening when I finished work there were about 1000 bikes on the street outside my work - barely room to walk down it - protesting about the Westminster parking charge. Everyone was smiling, the police were chatting to people and admiring the bikes. When they set off it smelt fantastic. A good protest.

Right now, nothing at all is going on outside. I'm going to stroll up to Trafalgar Square and see if there's anything brewing, I'll report through the afternoon if anything is happening. Meant to be gathering there properly from 2.
