I'm just wondering; has posting on a forum such as BCF ever caused you trouble because if what you've written; ie with work, or girlfriend etc (and I don't just mean for spending too long on the internet)?

No need to go into details (that would be stupid obviously).

All I'll say is that it's a very unpleasant feeling being presented with a large print out of "all posts by...", and I know it's happened to at least one other on the forum.

Has it affected the way you post? It's always in the back of my mind now.

Some one from another forum managed to split a couple up that was on the same forum!

The bloke was posting on there when this new girl joined, she and this bloke continuously flirted etc etc etc and lots of emails etc

Blokes girlfriend found out and read all the posts...

The rest, as they say, was history!

I post on a whole lot of forums, bike forums, hockey forums and all sorts. I personally have never had any problems, but from being a moderator on one large forum for a while, I can sure see how the problems start and snowball.

I remember one of my teachers when i was in the last year of school making me print out "all posts by Craig" on apriliaforum. Well needless to say i argued but she was adamant i would print them so i clicked print.

Not too much to hide, a lot was me giving advice.

But it was funnier seeing the look on her face when "Page one of 300" came at the top of the first sheet. I tried to explain but they wouldn't have it. In the end they canceled the printing on about the 3rd page and there was (luckily) no bad content on there.

Never stopped me posting on there, there was nothing better to do.

My old boss was gonna sack me for spending too much time on BCF when I was supposed to be working.
I pointed out that my stats were the best in the team and that BCF was obviously not affecting my performance in any way. he got off my back for a bit then.
Oh, then I had a disciplinary for playing games n shit Very Happy

My work did it on the amount of "clicks" rather than time spend - and with BCF there can be quite a few clicks in a relitively short time!
I've got in trouble with my [edit - ex Sad ] girlfriend before for saying she's not exactly a light pillion but it's not like she's a big girl!
I think i'd giggle if my work decided to do the all posts by Milo thing - it'd be huge!
