Leather trousers sizing

I am looking to buy some leather trousers. Normally, I take size 34 or 36 inch waist trousers with a 34 leg.
What sort of fit should I be looking for with leather trousers for riding on my bike?
Should the waist be 'comfortable' i.e. 36in for me, or should it be 'snug' i.e. 34in.
Do leather trousers stretch with use, particularly around the waist?
Most leather trousers I have seen on ebay have 30 or 31 inch inside leg. Is this normal/standard?
Should I not worry too much about length because I'll be wearing boots with them?
Any advice would be much appreciated. I wouldn't want to spend that sort of money and then find out they won't fit.

Better to pop into a shop and try some on. Different brands = different sizing.

31" inside leg is regular.

29" is small.

33" is long leg, suit you in this case I beleive.

35" is X.Long.

Do try them on; bear in mind that they fit differently when your sat on your bike, and that you may/may not have boots on.

Mine were very snug when I first had them. now they're worn in, I chuck them on over my work trousers for commuting.

Snug is good, but if they're not armoured as standard bear in mind you might want room to put some in.

They vary a lot - not just the waist size they are 'supposed' to be but other factors such as how high the waist is and how much room in the thighs and backside when sitting or standing.
Unless buying cheap off ebay you need to try them.
