Have you ever had a bike which you have regretted getting rid of?

Like Keith - I regret getting ride of all of them. Unfortunately the garage isn't big enough - and nor is the bank balance Sad

I though it would be the NSR, but I rode it the other day and it felt like a ped. Still miss it though

Yes, a Suzi GT750 (2T triple), oh and a DT175 (which was stolen) so is a bit different.

But I have moved 3 times since then, so it would have been difficult to keep either of them.

Cheers
Rob

NO! I was glad to get rid of all of mine to go faster.
Wish I'd not bought the Gixxer750 though. Cost me way too much money in the long run.

I miss my Rs125, it was good fun being able to thrash it everywhere and not be putting me or my license in too much danger, I try to thrash it now and I end up doing silly speeds too quickly and have to back off the throttle. Sad

Yeah, I miss my NSR - I miss having to wring it's neck to go anywhere - if I do that now I'm in serious danger of loosing my licence!

I used to have a KE175 Kawasaki that I used for thrashing down lanes and around the garden, wish I had i now that I know more about bikes and I'm bigger, could have tremendous amounts of fun on it!

Hmmmm, methinks a flick through the classifieds in the local paper for a messing-around-on-bike might be in order once back in the UK.

I can see this thread costing me money!

I Really miss my 1975 Yamaha RD200 twin... I was 17 when I got it new, and sold it 18 months later to go 4 wheeling... At time, birds were the order of the day and they didn't like wet cold outings to the pub!

It was a blistering bike in its day and I hankered for it for years. After moving recently, had space to keep a bike again and got a Hyosung Cruise II. Although good for just £1450 new, is only a 125 single but not so small in statue... it doesn't have the road presence of the RD...!

The RD went over to Oz to circumnavigate the contient I believe...! :down Sad

Don't regret selling the bandit (only regret buying the bloody thing Laughing)

The ZXR I used to miss, I loved it but hated it, taught me a lot but cost me so much money was stupid and just kept going wrong and annoyed me.

Don't really regret selling it in a way, the R6 is so much fun compared to the others, it just does everything better and the day I picked it up I completely forgot about the ZXR for good, despite selling it the week before for half what it was worth! Didn't really care, was riding my R6 home and that's all that mattered to me.

well i did really miss getting rod of my 1st KMX200, as it was mint. I found that getting another 1 after 3yrs cheered me up!
Ive just got back from a hol in Cypress, and apart from a nice Busa and a very trick ZX12R, there was no other bikes that i would want more than my KMX, or at least when its finished anyway. I got carried away taking pics of an MTX200 Honda as ive never seen one before, 200cc versions of most trail bikes are pretty rare anyway!
