I have that, and It's terribly slow for me... I do 20 up small slopes in 40mph zones... I just want to know, if there's an easy way to either do it myself, or get it done for me.
I live in the West Midlands, in Coseley, so any where pretty close to me would be great.
Also, do I need to tell my insurance company/dvla/anyone about destricting it...? |

It's not restricted.
To do 30mph+ you need a big hill. |

I am 17 That's my entire reason for derestricting it, I bought a 50cc before I knew I was allowed to ride 125s at 17... I just want to squeeze as much speed/power out of it as possible, I'll check the websites and such. |

I bet there workshop section is bloody busy
I had a 2 stroke Chinese scooter and although it did over 30mph, if I actually did that, it'd just bog down and go about 10mph.
It was good for commuting at 30mph but these were the parts I had replaced:
3x Fuel Filter
1x Fuel Hoses
1x Engine Mount
4x Spark Plugs
1x Back Tyre
1x Carburetor
1x Exhaust
Thank god it was on warranty or I would of spent more on labour than the bike is worth. I wouldn't go Chinese again. I've got an Italian bike at the moment and it isn't much better. Japanese seems the way forward.
A 50cc 4 stroke will be reliable in comparison to a 50cc 2 stroke. Also that is one cheap scooter... I'd be very wary. |

You will now love me.
Okay my first bike was one of these shitty chinky craper piles of awfulnees on a massive scale ( not dissing you bike )
Same engine thats in yours baccically and all the boation scoots and stuff.
I found ( well allymoss found , allso a user ) under my seat a little cover you could take out to gain view of the carb. We took it of as i was going to give it a clean and allymoss found what was bacically a small screw stopping my throttle twisting to its full amount.
From 30mph just !!! to 40 - 45. I got 40 with both us on when his moped broke on a ride. Much more power.
But be warned, that bike is now broken. Aslo a word of advise with chinky bikes dont just have a random play with it like you can good bikes, they fall to pieces.
Anyway . . . So yeah, try that, see if you have one. Obv's if you dont have a cover under your seat find the carb still and have a look.
Good look ____________________ Current bike .. The police stole it

You can do much with these scoots mate , There are no tuning parts avaliable for them.
Stick to well known names like suzuki ,yamaha or aprilia

Nice to see the noobs paying attention to thread dates, especially threads about mopeds, where the OP has long since gotten rid of it. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.
