My daily transport

Bought this in april last year, so far it's been a cracking little bike, cost me next to nothing to run so far. came with 28350 miles on the clock, I misaligned the speedo drive and did 1200 miles before putting it right, so it currently ''only'' has 34700 miles on the clock!

The only things I have had to replace because they properly broke was the clutch cable (£10) and the front wheel bearings (£15)
As for servicing:
Rear tyre £30
Inner tube £10
Oil £40 for 8 litres (its burning a little bit atm)
2 X Spark plug (£3)
Chain and sprockets £45
Bulbs/other less than £15

I wanted it for the solid reliability and excellent fuel economy (try 650 miles for £31.50!)

Recently fitted a new set of clocks as the others had been damaged after someone tried to remove the key with the ignition on while I was waiting at the trafic lights =[ they now show just over 21000 miles

Rock oil 10W40, I think the rings are on thier way out because if I take off hard it smokes a bit, but usually its clean. It uses 50 - 100ml per 150 miles, so I'm not that fussed. I've changed the oil 3 times already to keep it nice and clean

Well when I first got it I got some from halfrauds and it made it difficult to start without the choke for some reason, got a bottle of Rock, dropped the halfrauds stuff out and its been running much better ever since, never ever needs the choke =]

The CG is in bits in the college workshop, I got a new set of headstock bearings and have gotten 60% of the way through, just gotta put the actual bearings in, and then get the forks back on
