Hi all,
Im trying to install a gear indicator on my r125, but having difficulty tracing down which wire i need. Ive got the wiring diagram for the bike but im stuck on a couple of the wires.

1. Tach wire
2. Speed wire.

Does anyone know which colours they are and where located?
I assume that both will goto the ECU but both sensors have more than one wire which goes to the ECU.

Can you measure revs at the ECU using a normal multi meter? if so, how?

Im gonna try the speed wire by manually spinning the wheel to see if any of the indicated wire give a variable resistance when the front wheel is in motion.

Can you not get the readings from the back of the speedo and rev counter? If not i would join the tacho wire to the low tension side of the coil, and the speed wire directly to the output of the speedo drive, that's if it's a electronic output not a cable drive.

I've been on the phone to acumen and they have been really helpful. I've tapped into a couple of sensor wires by the ecu and fingers crossed, they shud work.
