Hi,

Its that time of the year again, Insurance time! yay! Very Happy
Middle Finger

Anyway, Simply Insurance have come up over £200 less on every other quote I`ve got. (Simply want £244 for TPFT, others want well over £400)

Any opinions on this broker?
Any problems etc?

im with em and for exactly the same reason as you, they just took the piss out of all the other quotes i was getting, not had any reason to call on them yet, touch wood but they seem ok and dont hassle you for proof of no claims or alarm certificates etc.. they just seem to take your word for it.

te actual insurer im with is equity red star through simply bike(underwriter or something, i dont know how it works) i was with equity red star for my first year in 2006, had to ring them for a few things and was quite impressed with the service i got, there were no stupid indian call centre people and a minimal ammount of number pressing was required to get to talk to the right departments and usually got straight through, again, this is not relevant to how they would react if you were to try and claim for a loss but initial impressions were good.

Well got my documents through from them.

Oddly, the first page says to send proof of my no claims but 2 pages later it says they wont ask you to forward any documents to them, just keep them safe in the event of a claim.

Odd.

I'm with them. Insured my 900ss Ducati for £147 at 21 y/o.

Changed the insurance over to my MZ for an admin fee of £25 and the documents came in the post the next day.
