Having a bit of an issue with my claim, wondered if anyone could advise.

Along with a broken leg I suffered some damage to my wrist but even after 4 years, an MRI scan, a steroid injection and numerous assesments not one doctor has been able to tell me exactly what's wrong with it.

So this leads me to a recent report in which the doctor dealing with my case summarises that my symptoms are 80-90% gone and he believes it will stay like this.

I'm not happy with that at all, and I hate to be a bitch. I asked my solicitor to get him to ammend his report and state that the symtoms can fluctuate hugely day to day and at times it's extremely difficult to do even simple things with it. But he refuses to do so on the basis he has no medical evidence to back this up in court?

obviously it all boils down to money and I feel greedy for pursuing the matter further but this shit does my head in Evil or Very Mad

Should I just let it go? or should I ask to be seen by another doctor? any advise? soz it's a bit random! Very Happy

I'd go for a second opinion myself...

You could get a 2nd opinion.

But can you not get your actual day to day working's of the wrist added to the report. Such as detailing the problems you have doing certain task's etc.

An MRI scan showed up some minor tissue damage, I've been through physiotherapy and had a steroid injection. Nobody seems to know what's wrong with it but I do know it's a great discomfort day to day.

That's a good idea, I'll suggest this to my solicitor and write it up ASAP. Cheers.
