After leaving Devil's bridge, I turned left and took the road towards Hawes.

After Sedbergh, I saw a Suzuki (bandit I think), in pieces lots of police, ambulance. It looked like a bus was involved also.

I've no idea what happend or if the biker made it or not.

Anyone?

Welding on those Bandit things is atrocious, guess the bus was quicker to get home.

In no way aimed directly at the OP.

I personally cannot understand the point of these threads. Do you want to know if someone you have never met is dead? Get a newspaper, it called an obituary.

Asking on here is pointless. There is somewhere in the region of 1.2 million registered bikes in the UK and an alleged 58000 users on here ( probably closer to 2-300 hundred posters if you ignore all the foreign types looking for manuals, delete the fecking threads to speed up the server). If the first figure was anywhere near accurate it only accounts for 5% of the UK registered bikes. Thats 95% who will never see this post, add to that the fact that the rider is likely to be in hospital and you will come very close to 100% lack of response.

Three bikers died yesterday in North Yorkshire, nearest to this was probably near Settle/Garstang.
No cars obviously to blame in either of these.

It rarely is the car drivers fault at this time of the year, 90% of the time it's the riders fault for not realising it will take time for his reflexes and mind to get back up to speed.
