I would quite like to have Smoto Bob or Evil Bob written on the back of my leathers. Any idea where i can get this done.

Thinking vinal stickers would just come off. So who would be able to sow the letters on, and safely.

(ps i know its sad :-p heheh , but you all want it done really)

Rolling Eyes (oops pressed submit to quickly)

Meant to include..

Bit dodgy for being followed by police or something, they'd get your name pretty quickly...

You'd want leather letters cut then sewed to the suit I'd imagine, would be costly.

Not to sure on the idea, bit tacky but each to own, speak to a custom leather makers like crowtree or something.

The only trouble I can see there is easy identification... being inconspicuous is always useful!

It can be done to an existing set of leathers, but I have no idea where... Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Just had an Idea what about velcro !!

Then if i was on the road and i didn't want to have my nick name on the back i could rip it off.

Sliders are held on by those sticky patch's and thats on the nee's a much more bendy area.

Its my crash hats name Wink that evolved from Bob the original and got mixed with my Screen name Messiah, which has a character called evilbob (and one called Bob), that was what the 2nd crash hat was called and then i got into supermoto and hence, Smoto Bob Thumbs Up

amazed you couldn't work it out really.

Why you called "YamsR6" lol

You can get vinyl which can be applied to fabrics (I'm doing some t-shirts with our company name on). I'll have to enquire if it works on leather but if you're interested I could get you a price. I'm sure it will be loads cheeper than leather patches.
Let me know.
Cheers,
Mark.

You can get leather patches made at 'Nine Lives', Tel: 01483 454441

Hidout Leathers also make them but you pay quite a bit of cash from this place I think https://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/

Sticky back plastic. Yes, the blue peter style stuff, might not be permanent but has so far been on my jacket for over a month and is still stuck fast, has been in the rain but no major downpour.
I stuck BCF (in chrome sticky back plastic) on the back of my leathers for a Cadwell trackday, its not in a place where they would bend too much and perhaps this is why the letters have stayed stuck so well.
