It has:

Ohlins suspension front and rear
Ohlins steering damper
Lightened 'Oz' wheels
Aprilia titanium race can
Power commander III + remap
Full service history
17k miles (just, thanks to my ride yesterday)

Price... £2740!

It's not perfect cosmetically, but mechanically it seems to be totally sweet. Rear shock was serviced as part of the price, fresh MOT and a new battery. Insurance was a reasonable (for my age) £477 for the year.

Love the power on this thing, I imagine I'm experiencing something very similar to binge on his new TL1000R! Feels like it'll rip your arms out of their sockets Laughing .

Took a mate on the back (no grab rail so it's a good thing we've been mates a long time Embarassed ) and it kept trying to power wheelie and I had the front shaking it's head slightly overtaking cars a couple of times Very Happy . Was glad of the steering damper at that point!

It handles better with a pillion than my SV did when I was solo.. so it's a massive thumbs up. Despite it looking like a very big and heavy bike (which it isn't at all, 183kg dry weight), it's actually VERY agile and genuinely feels like it wants to turn. It actually felt a bit alien to me at first and I found myself tipping it in too far and having to stand it back up again half way round a corner! Razz . Despite the excellent handling, it's actually very comfortable on bumpy roads too, the suspension is firm enough that it holds a line "like it's on rails" but soft enough that you barely notice imperfections in the road Thumbs Up .

The gearbox is lovely and smooth, apart from finding neutral seems to be an acquired skill (getting the hang of it now already). Clutch-less up-shifts are no problem and I've not had any false neutrals. It has a slipper clutch so down changes are very smooth (I blip the throttle anyway though out of habit and to hear the lovely exhaust note Wink ).

Can't wait to put some more miles on it Mr. Green .

Shocked that's cheap! Looks a really nice bike, especially for that money. How old are you by the way?

It was cheap, hence why I snapped it up quick Razz .

I'm 20 (21 in May), 3 years NCB on the insurance. Proabably could have got it a bit cheaper but I just stuck with my old insurer for convenience and free break down cover (Carol Nash).
