 |
|
Just a random thread because i'm bored and it can't be any worse than Blue SV's
What's your favourite disney film? Everyone has a little soft spot for them, i grew up with them so i think ive seen all the classic ones.
I reckon The Lion King is by far the best, evidence being that i watched it so much when i was younger the VHS tape ended up breaking from over-use .
So whats your flavour? ____________________ |--Previous--|:2007 Aprilia SX50... --Current--|: 2007 Kawasaki ER-6N

Monster inc.
Was cars a Disney film?
Bolt.
I'm sure there's more. I don't even have kids as an excuse to watch them. |

Fantasia, best Disney film ever.
... and a very short film called Donald Duck in Mathmagic land, which was really cool, but I can't remember why.
I just remember liking it.
But then ... I like anything with Donald Duck in it.

I'd have to go for the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I just find them bloody funny!
If your talking more about the animations, I think all of the Pixar's are really well done, but to be honest morst of the Disney films are considered in classics in our family. We were raised on them! I also think "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is class.
One of the films we loved as kids was one of the lesser known ones "escape to witch mountain" which they have just remade with the Rock
Mary Poppins, Bednob & Broomsticks all the old stuff like that as well.
My missus is just manic with the Disney stuff, can't you tell why we got married at Magic Kingdom!!! ____________________ How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could Chuck Norris?

+1 for The Jungle Book
I grew up reading The Just So Stories and loved Rudyard Kipling books. Another book that I loved was The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and I found Narnia didn't disappoint me like so many book adaptations can.
It could just be me, but what I love so much about the Pixar, Disney and such like 'kids' movies is the way I can forget all the rubbish that is adultlife and be totally absorbed in the moment - possibly silly and waste of time, but harmless and really quite therapeutic!! ____________________ 'The core of a man's spirit comes from new experiences'

I'm a complete sucker for Disney. I love them ALL to the old classics like Mary poppins to more of the recent stuff like Finding Nemo.
I can't even think of a Disney movie that I don't like.
Currently, starting off my marine fish tank with all the Nemo characters ____________________ Meet the team that will win, Blade, Razor, Blazer and my personal assistant, Michelle and from Romanovia - Fran Stalinovskovichdavidovitchsky

Probably mine too, although I really want to rewatch them all. Need to see Cinderella again, haven't see that in 15 odd years. Oh and Alice in Wonderland.
One thing dear, did you know Fantasia was originally planned to be part of a series of films. Unfortunately children hate classic music and grown up's hate cartoons (at least the mainstay of them) so they never bothered
However, they've now released a 'Fantasia 2000'. I need to get hold of that |
That would be v. interesting to see.
Actually, yes, it took me a while to decide which Disney film to put down, as I am quite fond of The Jungle Book as well, Anita having played it incessantly as a child, its sort of imprinted into my adult brain.
I totally forgot about Disney films which are not cartoons, of course. Despite far too many Christmas Day viewings, I still love Mary Poppins (What's all this?, step in time) and The Love Bug etc. And old Disneyland programmes (where I first fancied a VERY young Kurt Russell) ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |
