Thats legendary!

Also on the subject, I found this band yesterday, they've been around a while but its quite refreshing to see rap artists play heavy metal, they are pretty good too, listen for the solo!

Bodycount have been around for ages...I'm sure I've got one of their albums somewhere.... Confused I listened to the one Flip showed, and I was thinking...very Motley Crue / very glam, not really my bag baby.

If you like old stuff I can recommend a whole heap of bands to look out for...

Not really into white rappers, they make me feel angry. I only like Body Count cos its unusual to see black guys playing heavy metal these days and doing it well!

I love old music, so much better than the tripe being brought out today, and as such already have a good collection of stuff, cheers though! It's mostly Metallica. Because they rule. Thumbs Up Mr. Green

I saw a perfect summary of it on Youtube - 'Sounds like evil carnival music' Laughing Theres a good rip on Pirate Bay for those who want it.

If its good enough for baby Hammett, its good enough my kid when I eventually have one, he shall be called 'James Kirk Robert Lars Gray' or 'Lemmy' for short Laughing

Another song that evangelises metal and puts down other genres!

Didn't want to start a new thread, so I dug this up, I downloaded the album and it's very funny. I'd forgotten all about them tbh.

Welcome to 2009. The censored version of death to all but metal is just as funny as you try and figure out what words they have bleeped out!

Saw the panther at Wolverhampton earlier this year, brilliantly funny.

Check the vid about 4 mins in for a solo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T4GeXoHVHA

And for those with FB i took a bit more video of the guitarist doing a solo and playing the drum with his foot.

the link in my head was that they are a "comedy" metal band, rather than the sound (which i admit now is very different

Iron Maiden are headling Sonisphere 2010...sounds like it might actually be worth the money (Rammstein, Alice Cooper and a few others that didn't stick in my memory!)
