im currently looking at buying a rider to pillion kit but not sure on which one to get. Can anyone suggest any particular models?

There's a really cheap one made by Aldi/Lidl that isn't actually that bad. It's branded Tronic.

Autocom if you want something that is properly sorted, of course.
