Here's another uniformed fuck-wit... this one must have flown under the radar... I don't remember it, I was actualy looking for another incident, when when an elderly couple died after being wiped out by a police car on a 'training exercise'.

This particular young bag of dog shit in uniform is being sentenced on 27th May... another one to watch.

"A police officer has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after allegedly hitting a grandmother in a marked patrol car as he returned from delivering a birthday card to his sister.

Pc Malcolm Searles, 23, will face court next month over the death of Sandy Simpson, 61.

The newly qualified "standard response driver" had been granted permission to leave his police station in Bromley, Kent, for a social engagement at his family home in Swanley, Kent.

While there he gave another relative a ride around the local area. On the way back to the station, Mrs Simpson was allegedly hit by the patrol car as she walked with her husband Peter to their home in Bromley.

The IPCC has announced that the policeman had been charged with death by dangerous driving, three counts of dangerous driving and three counts of speeding.

Haven't got a problem with this. It is how these things should be done and as we can all see, being done.

No, I haven't got a problem with the procedure, either.
What I do have a problem with is a young copper taking his mate out for a joy ride and killing someone.

Hmmm, charged yes. The sentence? 3 points and a fine? Golden handshake and a tidy pension? 6 month suspended sentence? We shall see....

Well we'll have to wait and see what Mr Dougal get's first, we already know he's going to prison as the judge has said so. Therefore as this guy is being sentenced afterwards he's unlikely to get off any more lightly.

The length of the sentence will no doubt be shorter than a civilian one would be, but to be honest even most civilian sentenced for death by dangerous/drunk driving are absurdly inadequate.
