This is general BIKE chat and there is football in that and some bird who was once in a soap that I never watch.

{edit} yeah there are bikes in it... I did skip through but I clearly didn't skip to the right bit...

Yeh I had a 'wtf' moment, but at about 1 minute it goes onto some guy stunting.

Edit: Actually there is some guy with a horse as well Confused

Edit 2: Hahahaha he just said he is regarded as one of the best in the UK - he really doesn't look that smooth.

I've seen better at the ace cafe, like the R1 bloke. And Sparks! is pretty good, although I don't recall seeing a video of his riding, only stills.

up to 2930ish is stunting ( though will admit it would have been more impressive if he'd pulled off a watchtower)

I'm thinking his mate works at or owns the ace.

Still I didn't think he was all that. I've seen better on the streets of the UK, and even better still on videos from the US. He'll need to be as good as or better than people like Craig Jones and the american stunt boys. I don't honestly think that he is, unless they didn't show his best riding on latvian TV.

Also, why travel all the way to Latvia? What will that achieve? And what bike manufacturer will sponsor him to encourage dangerous riding? Manufacturers already run the gauntlet of health and safety and environmental legislation, why would they want to promote stunting? The only manufacturers I can think of that are mad enough are Buell and KTM. Sure he might get sponsored by a kit manufacturer or something like that, but thats not going to be enough to live off of is it?

Seems a bit contrived to me...

Yes, and he's a bazillion times better than this guy. And I suspect that Triumph don't pay him a salary, rather they just give him bikes...
