Ta. Looked at a few youtube videos, track doesn't look too defined - i.e not coned out.

I am very tempted by Cadwell on the 10th. Hmm!

Booked in to International on the 11th a while ago, was slightly tempted, but can't justify two days Sad.

Thinking about it... isn't the international circuit the 'left hand' one?
That being the case, the national is 'right hand', also been told there's a corner or two with very questionable run-off (ie a brick wall!), though I haven't ridden it myself.

The international is the left hand one yes.

The only questionable run off on the international is where you use part of the oval circuit.

And I'll see G and Deano there (Most likely anyhow. Finding out tomorrow, be booking early. Still places left)

Change the topic title to 11th?

Good advice! Smile

I enjoyed that... started off riding like a complete wuss, but slowly got the confidence back.
Still was far off a decent race-pace, but I at least promoted myself to an inters-group hero, with nobody catching me up in the last session Razz.
Taking a lap time from the bloke behind me for the penultimate session, was around some in Fast group, which I'd been considering moving up to - though happy enough that I eased myself back into it without the expense and hassle of crashing, as a few managed Smile.

'Props' to Danny for managing to stay rubber-side-down the whole day while riding at a very respectable pace on supercorsas in the wet Thumbs Up.

I hadn't realised quite how horribly coordinated I look on the bike:

Maybe some orange paint is in order for the fairings Smile.

Pictures from the day are here, by the way: https://www.trackdaydigitalimages.com/rock11-04-2009.html .

was an Ok day, got some really good practice on the wets. it was light rain on and off all day, the standing water cleared but the track was damp and greasy all day.

G you really should of done fast as the pace wasnt mega quick .

I managed to work out how to ride faster in the rain downshifting and upshifting is key to being smooth when needing to change gear in midcorner and working out the correct speed to go through the corner and that has to be enough to carry you all the way through.

i did struggle all day with it but I think next time I will definately have to play with the suspension and soften it up a whole load.
