what is wrong with my exhaust?

the other day i was out with a few friends my mate stopped me and told me my exhaust was glowing red inside im not sure whats wrong with it can any one help cheers

2 stroke or 4 stroke?
If its a 2 stroke, sounds like your exhaust is full of carbon build up (which will glow red), take off exhaust and clean out with caustic soda.

could be running really lean. did you just bolt on the exhaust without jetting it?

yeh its a 2 stroke aerox its a standard exhaust so wont be anything to do with up jetting the carb but i am thinking of getting an aftermarket exhaust do you know what would be good for the aerox and will i need to upjet my carb again cos it is already deristricted cheers

yh ive cheked there its quite good and ill probably get a mechanic to do the jetting just needing to know which one now i believe the best for the aerox is a gianelli reverse but just not sure

I dont think there is a best in the sense of what speed you will get.
But some may last longer and may be better made.
The sound may differ a little bit.
