In gimp and or photoshop I can watermark photos manually but doing one picture takes a minute or two , I have about 1200 photos that I want to water mark is there a program to do this enmasse?.

As with my other post a fair few of my touring and non touring pictures are being stolen and claimed as other peoples, me thinks something akin to what Swaffs does may prevent this.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

You should be able to do it with a Photoshop action, just record the watermarking process and then apply it to the whole folder of pics in one go.

Hi

Try Irfanview. It is shareware image manipulation software, but its biggest advantage is that it is geared to doing batch manipulation (I use it to throw thousands of images at to convert to thumbnails).

All the best

Use Linux and ImageMagick: https://www.jack-frost.co.uk/add_watermark_text_to_jpeg_images.html

Not without cygwin. Better to just install a Linux VM and set up a shared directory.
