Race simulator

I used to work opposite a guy who built full race simulators and I had no interest in them whatsoever,tbh it was partly because the guy took it so seriously he bored the s**t out of us with them,until he convinced me and my gaffer to go have a race on them.Awesome is the only word for them,however at the time i was racing stock cars so all my cash was tied up and the basic and cheapest frame to mount all the gear on was £400,and i had no room in my house for such a contraption.The one thing I really liked about them was the programme they run on as you could race any car around any track ie F1 car around Cadwell and it was quite realistic,anyone know if this is a game i can buy or is it an online programme as i do know they had virtual race seasons on them with cash prizes and so on
