Should be its really only banks and small business's that close on bank holidays. Shopping centres are always open so if its in there then yes more likely will be open.

My missus just quit as manager of one of the branches!!! I'm sick of the stuff!

Have you seen the new adverts trying to make out that there is some kind of chef in every store lovingly preparing the chicken??

I can tell you now, that yes, it is all done on that day as they say (Well, the original stuff. Zingers and stuff are delivered pre done).

I can promise you that you will never find a bloke like they have in the advert. It's always some brain dead monkey covered in flour and chicken guts who just tends to throw the food through, but is very good at covering over time stickers on food if it hasn't already been sold!!!

Well other than Easter Sunday & Christmas Day, where stores above a certain size cannot legally open.... (can't see a KFC hitting that size) I would expect ALL to be open.
Lets face it shutting at a time when a large % of the population are not working is not a good idea Laughing

I have NEVER ever had a KFC in my life, nor do I strive to have one...it just never seems that appealing.

I used to work in one of the chef and brewer pub chains and i was thought of as ridiculous to question the practise of removing 'HACCP' labels and 'day dots' (today is thursday throw away monday) etc, and replace them with up to date labels on food that has not yet been used. (I was floor staff but required in the kitchen to make desserts and check the approriate fridges/freezers).

It seems they are they to appease health and safety inspectors, if someone is coming to check the pub they have to make sure its not possible to tell the labels have been changed (it was often a bit lax; they were just ignored, i found something which was supposed to go off 2 months before the day; i was told to re-label it but i found it was moldy so i threw it away without telling the manager'.

I am guessing it is quite a common practise in places serving food which disturbs me slightly.

I am willing to bet its the same in all restaurant chains; and to some extent probably even in more expensive restuaraunts--although perhaps not supported by the management there.

According to George Orwell (in 'Down and out in Paris and London'), the more you pay for a meal the 'dirtier' the food is i.e. it has been squeezed, pressed, tasted, licked etc etc
