Your dreams and inspiration for?

In that I keep a list of things to do before I am X age, and although some of them are ambitious I'm cleaning out this list quite quickly..

I've done some terribly overrated things, 4 Japanese girlies at the same time isn't as fun as you might think ,

Next on the list is the big motorcycle trip...to be completely October 2009.

So what then ? , where do you find inspiration for your next ambitions or dreams ? . In that I spend alot of my time dreaming about doing this and that and it distracts me during unpleasant working days and helps the time pass quickly.

Any thoughts?

Well i've got to have targets, and nearly all are attainable.
Luckily i'm not impatient, as some of my victories took years to reach, and in some peoples eyes are nowt to write home about.
Don't want to get into specifics but an example was to tour New Zealand, Nrth & Sth Islands Yeah baby still buzz 2 yrs after the event
Also luckily for me i'm easily inspired so my to do list is vast.

I have far too many 'dreams' - some realistic, some far from.

Oddly enough, I am quite 'creative' in my own, logical, way.

My most recent dream of a trials bike I have delayed, but possibly brought back to the foreground after today.

Though, the one that keeps coming back is to try for a free meal at The Big Texan .

Going on tour which will happen this year. (Band related).

Dream since I started playing drums 11 years ago and is taking shape nicely.

Hmm want to get into Paragliding... however I think that shall have to wait till I have some more cash... along with 2 bikes (off-road and on-road).

Hopefully I will achieve it all over time. It just seems that the years are ticking by faster yet I am not moving that far forward yet...

I recently got the idea into my head of competing in the Nurburgring 24hrs. I reckon that is attainable by the time I'm 45, 40 if I (and the missus) score a good job(s).

Seriously, the requirements are pretty low to do it - 2 yrs of competition in a national championship to get your international licence, some training at the ring, a car to race with, and two or three fellow drivers to contribute.

So yeah, that's my long term goal to go for at the mo.

Paragliding can be done fairly cheaply if you go second hand.
Note that legally you don't require any training, though some is definitely advised. I know someone who ordered a paramotor, got it a couple of days later and had been for a few flights the day he got it, from the local field entirely on his own.
He had previously done hang gliding however and was an air-ambulance medic.

On the racing, don't know about cars; not sure about international bike licence, but for 'National' you have to finish in top half or something of an entire series to get it. So as I got an ok result at the end of my clubman Minitwins year, I went for it knowing that (nasty crash regardless) I wouldn't be getting it the next year.
