I have the opportunity to pick up an old fantic 237 trials bike and was wondering if it is possible to make these road legal and if so what would i need to do? ____________________ And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

Hi
You will also need proof of age. Beyond that it comes down to exactly how old it is. If under about 15 years (forget the exact date) then it will need SVAing. If older then it is quite easy.
Insurance on the chassis number isn't too difficult, but watch out for your insurance only being for a very short time (like a month) which can be a pain if insure it when you are not ready to register it.
All the best

Thank you both for the advice but i dont think it will be possible to get it road legal now. When i picked it up the owner had fitted a cg 125 engine into the frame and had cut a big chunk of frame out while doing it.
Ill be trying to get it as safe as possible and be using it for offroad i think
to follow when i have some more ____________________ And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
