Well, my KTM supermoto is being sold at the mo to fund an R6 (or similar), and my Honda CR125 is sat stripped down in my garage. Now iv dabbled in supermoto, i cant be without one! Decided im going to convert the CR to SM spec.

Bought the bike several weeks ago cheap off a friend, it has no spark and is cosmetically shagged, theres alot of cable ties holding things on and togther, and most of the nuts and bolts are mis matched etc.

This is the bike at work on the day i got it

Time to take it home! I dont reccomend being lazy and not strapping the bike down in the van, instead standing holding the bike while someone else drives! It was only a 4 min journey though!

Got the bike a fair way stripped down one morning, lashed the whole thing in de-greaser and stripped it down further to get all the dirt and crap out. came out pretty nice

Its going to be a slow project though, as monies are not plenty!
But im planning on putting some decent parts into it, just afew on the list are:
Pro taper triple clamps, raisers and bars
Excel 17" SM rims, maybe a 16.5" front
Brand new black plastic kit
320mm floating front disk and SM brake conversion
Aprilia rs125/250 front master cylinder and brembo remote resevoir
Modded airbox
V force 3 reed block
VHM head

+ more! Unsure yet as to wether or not im going to put a 250cc motor in it. If i can find one cheap enough, then maybe.

As for the no spark issue, iv still got to pinpoint the fault. When i get a chance im going to get the multimeter out and test the voltage from the stator, as this is a known fault with these bikes.
Iv tried an ECU borrowed from my friend, but no luck, not even a pecker of a spark.

Hopefully though, once finished, it should look something similar to this (but not have the 500cc motor in!)
