About a month ago a few of us from BCF went to Redtread Honda in southern Spain for a spot of offroading.

The base for the 3 days riding was a villa in the hills and the bikes were Honda CRFs - from the 230 up to the 450.

Below are a few snaps, admittedly most are just scenery, but a few action shots, the other that went with me might add some more.

The view upon waking on the first morning

The first morning was spent at the local MX track to get used to the bikes

Then out into the hills and a stop

Now the rest will just be a random selection of pics - there wasn't any time to stop and take action shots really, so some scenic pics will have to do

Michael J on the left, Ken, a 70 year old bloke on the right. Ken was a legend, been everywhere done everything. He fell off 18 times one day but got up and rode on.

Getting up quite high - you can see snow on the cap of that hill (or mountain?)

Each day we would stop at a restaurant for lunch - the food was excellent at pretty much every one we went to.

The view from the table, not bad eh? After lunch we rode the edge of the lake in the distance

If you squint you can see some of the guys on bikes in the gorge below

Another rest

Ian the instructor rides up and down something that was much more intimidating in real life than it look in the snaps

Some happy punters at the end of the holiday

Looks like we timed it right as this was the scene the morning we left

Wow, looks like great fun. How long did you go for? I'm guessing you went and hired the bikes out over there, was it much?

Looks like you had a good time and good weather while it lasted!

We booked through www.redtread.com, went out for a long weekend (flew out on the friday, returned on the tuesday)

All in all was good fun.. Good weather, excellent area for trail riding & some really nice restaurants.

Joe, just out of interest did you get any photo's with my tash?

Had a very good time. Learnt so much in a few days. Feel so much more confident offroading now.

Have a look at the Redtread site, there's a list of the packages they can do on there.

On a side note I've located some footage from Ken:
