I'm after a Shoei XR1000 "Diabolic" helmet in XL but everyone is sold out and waiting for the next batch around august time. Anyone know a dealer who has some?

I just looked on the website I bought my helmet from and they have a disclaimer saying, that due to Shoei's inability to meet demand there may be a 4 - 6 week delay.

You could still give them a call and see.

That's the exact one I'm after. It looks amazing! I want to go try one one somewhere first though. Is it just the "diabolic" one that's sold out everywhere? Might be hard trying one on if not...

This is exactly whats printed on the page for the Diabolic;

"Attention: Due to Shoei's insufficient ability to deliver, there may be delays up to 4-6 weeks in the delivery of the XR-1000".

There is also a disclaimer printed on the first page of Shoei helmets that says;

"Attention:
Due to Shoei's varying ability to supply there may be some times of delivery for certain Models/Colors. We try to process your order fast as possible and will inform you instantly in the case of a delay".

You could always call and find out.

Terrible - Bad - etc, sometimes used gothically with reference to the devil or so I believe.

Or you could buy an Arai! Razz

I thought you were joking. Sorry. Embarassed

I was wondering if it was one of those helmets I heard about which had an integrated rear view mirror either side.

My apologies dainesefreak, my ignorance. Thumbs Up

I remember the days when they used to say you were an Arai head or a Shoei head. None of these new fangled lids like they have today! Wink

IMO they are much of a muchness today, even though I did spend a fair amount on my own lid, but I'm a tart. Shocked
