You're quite right, it IS a question of when, not if. But you're wrong to think it will be in your lifetime, or deliberately unleashed by the government.

And as for 'organic body requiring organic food'... Are you crackers? Got to love you vitalists, thinking theres something inherently special about a molecule made in a 'natural' manner over synthetic ones (urea, vitamin C etc).

An organic body simply requires a source of glucose, amino acids and lipids. Well, along with all the things it can't synthesis itself (the 'vitamins', aka the plebian version of 'missing metabolic substrates').

I'll merrily agree that some things are fat soluble, or do weird things to hormone action etc. Some can and will make you hyper etc, and baring in mind just how much energy the brain uses to run diet has a massive part in that respect. However, stating that eating cheap food will cause you to become mentally stunted is unnecessarily alarmist imo.
