At college a woman teacher reversed into my brand new cbr 125. The bike was parked in the car park and not in the designated motorcycle area which is full. There are around 10 bikes which park the other side of the mobile where the motorbike parking is. The driver narrowly missed my mates bike who just got it back on the road that day and hit mine from behind pushing it into the mobile. Major scratches on the headlight, bent up footpeg and minor scratches on the bar end, front mudguard and fairing above the light were the result of this incident. Everyone i have spoke to said she should pay up in full for this and i share the same view although she doesn't except full responsibility for what she has done because it was parked in the wrong place. The bike was not intruding her path of exit of the car park as well. What do you think about my story. Please give you're views on the subject. The damage will cost around £160.

There is no need at all to post the same topic twice, it will only annoy people and we will be less likely to offer you any advice, just flame you! Rolling Eyes

Give the poor kid a break Shaun, he's just had his bike knocked over and now your criticising him for posting identical threads within minutes of each other - Given that his post count is just into double figures it may have been totally unintentional.

Your rating his post as spam is a bit extreme - especially when the God's of Karma are more than willing to decimate New Members' rating.

There was a thread on the forum recently regarding new members and the fact that they weren't made to feel welcome into the world of BCF - It seems that you're doing your best to ensure that the subject of that thread was true.

He copied and pasted exactly what he wrote and posted it twice within a few minutes of each other, that is spam!

Shaun,
I think it was probably a mistake I have found if you use the back button in IE and you get back to the submit page(maybe some minutes later) it submits again but you (well me Embarassed ) do not notice. However I have nice mod to fix it quick and kev doesn't !

Kev - use the page links not the back button Smile

Also, if she hit your bike it is her fault even if you were blocking her in. Get a quote ask her to pay and if she does not go to the small claims court. It is her decision to claim on the insurance or not.
Anyway welcome to bcf
Bye
