joins in my frame

hey all today i have been playing with the bike and trying the work out why one of the plastics doesnt line up properly. whilst doing this i noticed there were two joins on the near side of the frame. is this normal or has my bike been involed in an accident and this is a repair.

it sounds like a repair as hondas are a very good fit panel wise unless there crashed or dropped Thumbs Down

hey guys cheers for your replys. had a friend lookat ti today and doh it was me being a muppet. turns out the joins are suppose to be there so you can take a section of frame out if you want to remove the engine. the reasoning for the radiator plastic not fitting correctly is because i have found that the radiator as a curve in it where it must have been knocked at some point

Radiator is an achillles heel on the CB500 - you don't find too many that are salvage, and those that are tend to be corroding.

Of course you can source them through Honda, David Silver spares or from Delkevic directly
