got one of theses locally, the guy wants £700 but im going to offer him £500 as theres no tax or mot. anyone know what these bikes are like?

A supermoto version of a DT125. Should be pretty reliable and easy to work on.

I've got one - they handle well. Deltabox frame, excellent brakes.

Fit BT45 tyres if possible and you can lean it way over - enough to scape the pegs on roundabouts.

The engine is a bit strangled as the exhaust contains a catalyzer in the expansion chamber. If you replace the exhaust with a full Arrow system the bike goes a lot quicker. You need to change the rear wheel sprocket as well otherwise the bike just redlines all the time. Go -3 teeth on the rear sprocket.

If its restricted, expect 60mph at 8000 rpm

Derestricted just allows it to rev higher - expect 75mph before hitting the redline at 10,000 rpm

If you fit the arrow pipe and change the rear wheel sprocket it will do 85mph.

spoke to the guy. he says its derestricted so im popping down to his on thurs to see it. will probably buy it as i like the look of it and i like my 2 strokes Thumbs Up
will see how it performs on the way back up the road.

hi,
i quite fancied that as well....
had a mate who owned one years ago, twas good wee bike.
i say wee, but if iirc, its actually quite big looking.
