Rude, Deceitful, Scammer.

Nice and friendly.......well, only when before taking my £££.

The ZX6R that I bought from them was running sh*t but they refused to fix it during the warranty period, unless I pay an extra £300. Said the bike that I traded in wasn't as good as I mentioned so the warranty had been invalided.

Promised to fix the broken petrol switch before I bought the bike but it never happened. I made over 20 phone calls in 3 mths, visted the shop 3 times chasing it. They keep lying and eventually asked me to "F**K OFF BEFORE I THROW YOU OUT". I had to paid and fix it myself at the end.

Why am I paying their ridiculus price and get this kind of service?

I don't deserve this. Sick

milk bottle, fill with petrol. stuff rag in neck of bottle and allow the petrol to soak through, light the rag and throw it at the b@stards

its what i would do Very Happy

i had a sensible thought.. did they value your trade in without actually seeing it? if they did than its their own fault if it didnt meet their expectations and they should have told you so before closing the deal

If it is still under guaranteed warranty, go to Trading Standards or something?

If they looked over your trade in and then accepted it, surely that's sold as seen and they've missed their chance to whinge about it?

LOL but I did thought about doing tat

They did see the trade in bike before the deal but I had to throw in a spare petrol tank as part of the deal.

They didnt say anything when they receive the tank/bike.

but when I tried to book in for a repair for the new bike they said there is a stain on the spare petrol tank, which i didnt mention and tat will cost em £300 to respray

It was a 1976 CB400 tank still with original paint work, literally it was just a faint petrol stain.

i am preparing a county court summons but i guess all i can get back is the cost of the petrol switch

no the warranty was finished after 2 mths

actually at the end i had to threw in extra £200 worth of part/spare in order to make them repair the new bike.

Unfortunately despite doing that they still mess me about and didn't fix the bike properly, nor get me the replacement parts

And then I gave up and did all the work myself.

Thinking back now I should have fixed the bike with another garage and send the bill to these bastards...

You never heard of SOGA?

Customers have more rights when buying from a dealer, however if the dealer enters a contract after valueing the trade in then its tough shit for them.

Suggest you read up on SOGA

Sorry dude but you are wrong there. Fit for purpose and all that jazz apply to businesses. If the OP was serious about getting his money back then he could quite easily take the offending garage to court.
