First off, i do apologise as it has been asked may times before. Embarassed

I had a look at my tyres (EDIT) earler and the canvas is coming through Laughing Embarassed not good.

At the moument i have A D208 on the rear and a D207e(Shocking tyre)

Now i want to try something new, not massivle soft or hard, good for the miles and corning.

the bike is a CBR600 FY so nothing with tremendus power.
And pice of both tyres(edit) ( front and back are wanted) depending on price and me possibly selling, just a back. looking at about £150-£200

Please bless me with your grateful knowlage and help little old me Waveing bye to his pay check.... Laughing Crying or Very sad

The Maxxis tyres on my Baghira are SHIT.

I reccommend Pilot Power 2CTs. On my 900ssie, I have done 5k miles and 2 trackdays, and the rear still has life.

Got Pirelli Diablo Corsas on my FX, seems an alright tyre although i don't like them much in the rain. Gonna try the Michelin Pilots next

I was recommended by my local Honda dealer to get BT021s for my FX. (Sport Touring, Dual compound, harder round the middle to reduce squaring off, and softer on the outside to improve corner grip).

Oh, and they were £235 fitted, not cheap, but cheaper that Michelin Pilot Road IIs.

Err your "dealer" is a bit on the expensive side, goto a proper tyre fitters,

Pilot Road 2's can be had fitted from between £200 and £220, I rate them higher than Bt021's which are good tyres but i find tend to square off earlier, and when they do they are quite bad for following painted white lines etc,

A cheapo option would be standard Pirelli Diablo's, still good tyre,

Think about spending that couple of quid more and get Pilot Road 2's though you will thank me later..

I'm on my first pair of Continental Road Attacks and commuting about 80miles a day mainly motorway. So far they are wearing well and no issues with grip in the cold and wet.

If you can afford them I'd say the pilot road 2. Last ages and great grip.
