RT100 - Flywheel?

Took my son to the park to play on the RT100, after about 45 minutes when he was getting smart and passing me at top speed on his newly created speedway track I noticed, wait for it........

A noise!

Coming from the flywheel casing, took the cover off and cant see anything obvious but it sounds as if there is something rubbing, definately a metalic noise.

Any Ideas what it might be? I dont have a tool to pull the fekker off so cant see what if anything is going on.
