I need some help, I've been given the task of organising my brother's stag do (it seems his fall into insanity has moved him to ask his lady to marry him). I'm pretty chuffed at being asked and don't want to mess it up. So far I've got the bones of the weekend sorted, two nights B&B, club tickets, paint balling on day one and karting on day two (none of his mates are bikers, but nice guys I'm assured!).

My main problem is the details. This is my first stag do, never mind organising one! Has anyone got any experience/idea of how I can make this stag weekend truly brilliant?

...I don't want to do the token tie him up naked to a pole somewhere...

Tie him up to a railing then Razz

To start the ball rolling....

depending on cost, have you thought about a stripper?

Stag do t-shirts?

Though I've never been to one, but have heard about mates that have.

Cheers for the advice!

He's my big brother so humiliation is definitely on the cards! Twisted Evil

I've got a plan for a stripper - she'll she tall, blonde...and weigh about 20 Stone!

Problem with the t-shirts tho - I've called up a few bars and pubs and they don't like big groups of lads and a group t-shirt could give the game away!

In March 20 of us are descending on Prague for the weekend. We're doing the usual Karting but then it's a proper bender in our silly Stag-do T-shirts followed by a "Pimps and Prossie" theme night with all the lads dressed in Huggy Bear type outfits and the Stag in drag, suspenders and fishnets, the lot!

And all beer is around 60p per pint Shocked

It's great in the Dam but we didn't find it cheap. Around ten of us went last year and from Friday morning to Monday morning I'd spent £350 and there were lads who'd spent £500.

Yep, been best man a few times! The devil is in the detail! To make it goes smoothly plan everything down to the nth degree (remember you are dealing with a load of drunken men & you won't be that sober either!).

Firstly you need to appoint a 'Deputy Best Man' to help you. He can do some of the organising - you then want to make an itinary of the weekend, i.e. '9.30am Meet at so in so, 11.00am Go Karting, 1.00pm lunch etc. The best way to keep everyone together is to hire a minibus and have a designated driver (usually the tee-totaller, or Atkins dieter). You also have to organise whose bunking up with whom, ask for preferences etc.....In one instance I organised dinner for 30 & got the restaurant to create a special menu.

Finally if you are asking for a contribution from people before hand, for the paint ball, go kart & B&B always add an additional 15% for breakages, tips, and other stuff - if you have money over you could always spend it on an addtional round for the lads, a better present (or hooker) for the groom , or just pocket it as reward for all the effort!

Good luck!
