My first current affairs post ... so apologies if this is a re-post.
Now I do understand that all politicians are the same ... morally corrupt and self serving ... and I know that this speaker is a Tory ... BUT, his reply to Gordon Brown at the EP is spot on for me.

Some highlights:
Every British child is born owing more than £20,000 .... and paying the interest is more than it costs to educate that child.

We have a deficit that is higher than countrys that have called in the IMF for financial assistance .. such as Pakistan etc !

Quite frankly he doesn't care and is laughing like that in the videos because of this.

He has been an MP for 12 years , 1 term gets you a nominal amount 2 terms gets you a gold plated amount, 3 terms gets you a platinum plated diamond encrusted pension.

On top of this he has already secured his own future ie given the banks incredibly large bribes (in the form of bail outs) as well as the UN and the IMF so that when he gets the boot he will by complete coincidence of course receive a highly paid job. Like Blair did.

When it was initially posted, i believe it was Bazza who described GB as looking like 'a monkey caught wanking', which still makes me chuckle.

I was rather pleased with the video when I first saw it. To the point I emailed it around anyone who I thought would spare 3 minutes to watch it, something I never do for political things.
