Got caught speeding, info?

Ello all.

Got stopped speeding for the first time the other day, but luckily managed to get let off with 3 points and a £60 fine. Only problem is the officer didn't write the offence code on my slip, only says 'Excess speed' and I'm trying to get a new insurance quote and it's asking for the offence code.

So anyone know what the code is for excess speed in a 30 limit?

yep, SP30. dont worry about insurance prices either, they dont do much damage .

Last time i rang up for an insurance quote and told them about it, they told me its barely worth worrying about and they are almost like a fashion accessory now.

not exactly on topic but years ago i got an sp30 for hooning past an unmarked po po mobile in a traffic calming zone on a speedfight 100 . mr copper wasn't chuffed
