I seem to get chased out of Ebbsfleet every time I go there. Laughing
On the Pit bike, It wasnt worth running, But on the NC29 I always used to make off.

If you want to practice, Go late afternoon on a week night. But not a Wednesday or Thursday if you want a quiet ride. Wednesday nights there is literally 100 bikes there. And Thursdays its packed with RWD cars.

Damn right to only let you off with a warning. He can't do anything about what you're wearing, and I'm pretty sure your riding wasn't bad enough to warrant anything formal.

"I'll let you off with a warning" is police code for "I can't find anything to do you for but I like the sound of my own voice, so here's a lecture anyways, because I understand motorbikes infinitely more than you"

Seem to be making some quite angry posts today Shocked

Well I went out for a quick hoon, And the meat wagon must of followed me onto the top roundabout. I didnt see it.

I came down the dual carriage. Not breaking the 50mph limit, because the pit bike doesnt really go much over 60 anyway. And once it gets to 50, It takes forever to pick up speed after that.

Roundabout control, I think, Was superb. I also wasnt over the 50mph limit there either.

What I did do wrong is pull back into the lay by at 30mph (ish) and pull off, what I thought, Was a fucking shit hot Rolling stoppie. Laughing

Meat wagon pulled in, Pointed at me and came walking over.

"Is that thing insured!?"

I was like, "Umm yea, Its road legal".

And he looked over it, Saw the reg plate etc. Didn't question anything else really.

White un. I've bought some Pirelli Supercorsa Pro's. They are in the Post atm.
Once they are fitted I'll be booking up some track time.

Jefr0-CBR6, The Oakdene isn't really my thing. I went there the other day and it was full of Rat bikes and dodgey home made trikes. Laughing

Ah right, went there the other day, wasn't any wheelies really or anything going on, a few dodgy trikes, but there was this Busa there, had GSX 1622 R on the back, totally modded, carbon frame, tank, plastics etc, nothing was missed on it. So he pulled away, anddddddddd you could of beat him on your pitbike, he just poodled off, everyone was expecting him to do something Sad

Know many bike meets around this area? Bar the Ace.

Ben

Should have said, don't worry mate, I'm already one of the 1% of bikers on British roads, that's a statistic right?

Probably would have got you in more trouble though...

Well, I got spanked today, In my own area! Sad

BUT, it was Traffic cops who pulled me. Must of been target hunting.
Wankers. Laughing

Pulled me up on the reg plate. I was pretty pished off with the whole ordeal really. The Police officers attitude towards me was a bit of a piss take really.

Started out when he got out of the car...

"Alright Dude!"

I was like "Pardon?"

He huffed around my bike, Picking up on the following...

Speedo (Yes I took it off, lol!)

Headlight, He said it's not road legal. My reasoning was I use it for daylight riding only, So technically I dont need a front light at all.
The only reason the halogen bulb is on the front is to make myself more visible, Not to provide light when riding in the dark.

Indicators, Again, as far as I was aware, During the day, Hand signals are perfectly fine. Apparently not...

Reg plate (I knew it was coming). He said its too small.
I went onto say I've already bought a new one, It will be with me in a day or two. He asked where I bought it.
I said "Ebay".

Then he went on to say "Well it cant be a Legal reg plate then can it?"

I asked why, And he said it has to have a post code on the bottom.

LMFAO! Fucking toss pot.
For starters, It's got to have BSAU mark on it. And why the hell cant an online shop provide legit reg plates?
Pissed me off that did

I accept my bike wasn't road legal, But his lack of knowledge was not on. Especially when pulling somebody up on a subject they clearly don't know enough about.

He asked me what I wanted him to do. I said whatever you want mate, Not really fussed.

So he stuck me on for an illegally displayed number plate. £30 fine.
However, I wasn't given a rectification form, So I guess I dont need to prove the changes have been made.

In short, I am the first on the forum to stick up for the police when somebody is putting them down. I appreciate the work they do, And accept I was pulled up for my reg plate. It was a piss take.

It's the fact the coppers who pulled me were off their fucking heads.

"Alright Dude!"

I mean WTF! If I replied "Alright Pig!" I'm sure I'd of got a section 48123 or something, for some sort of anti social behavior act! Laughing
