Hi all,

After posting for a while on here I finally have gotten my bike!

After looking at 2, the 3rd one was the boy!

It is a 2000 Suzuki SV650s Y

Had it since Monday and done around 250 fabulous miles Wink

Then this weekend it is off to my sisters in Carshalton then to see my bro in High Wycombe (and to catch the rugby).

Fun fun fun and daddy can't take the SV away!

My advice as an ex SV650S owner (in blue - its the best colour Thumbs Up )

Is go out and buy some Motrax Top Block crash mushrooms!

They saved me from a big bill on no less than two accasions, and one at 40mph on the M25!

Also, Banditmania.co.uk have some sweet afermarket stuff if you're into that sort of thing! Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

The bike was up for 2750, but managed to get it for 2600 with an oxford cover thrown in as the bloke was moving to Oz. It has done 20000 miles, but is v. clean. Knocked him down on price as it needed new tyres, which I got fitted the other day. Got some bridgestone 010s.

Haven't been on the forum for a while now, been busy and also riding it any chance I have Smile

With that comment about laura and pillion was just a reference to some other post I saw about a stockley park rideout after kev invited me.

Still bedding in the new tyres Sad

Neal

Sorry, forgot to say about the insurance, it is £650 TPFT from insureyourmotor. Has meta alarm and purchased big-ass abus lock to chain it so no twocer can nick it. It is a residence car park that needs a swipe card to get in. Also there is a Mille R that parks next to me and he doesn't even have chain or disc lock - hopefully they'll steal that before mine - I WOULD! lol

Don't like the new shape ones though - specially the back end - yik! Sick
