Choices, choices - what to choose

Opinions required please......

today I am going to look at

1) Honda cbf-600-sa6 2006 with 6000miles priced at £3499

and

2) Suzuki GSF BANDIT 650 2007 with 5600 miles. Price tag of £3299 - already restricted.


As I have an A2 license, the Bandit is attractive as it is already restricted, but the Honda looks good with the half fairing.

I am going to look at/sit on this afternoon so may have a different view later, but I would like your opinions on these two bikes.

I'd say the bandit... purely because its done less miles, already restricted saving you £200+ labour, and its plenty of bike when your restriction period is up so you can drop out the restrictors and have a pretty good big bike without having to fork out for another bike!

The Honda is the better bike of the two. It will have better build and finish and hold it's value better.

In terms of performance, they are fairly similar. The bandit has more HP but weighs more, so moot point. If this is your first big bike, they're both going to feel like rockets.

I'd go for the Honda.
