replacement handlebars

Hi,

Well today I had my first spill - braking hard, into mud, oops off I came.

Luckily no damage to me - gear did its job.

Only real bad thing was my 'bars are twisted/bent.

Should I approach Honda for replacement ones or can anyone recommend some other type to replace te knackered ones?

Just get some pattern ones, the only advantage of OEM honda ones are that they are usually predrilled and are correct position for the cable length but there is always a couple of inches slack anyway so you can replace them with something similar.

If you buy something like renthal or other pattern bars you'll need an 8mm drill bit as the bottom of the controls usually has a dowel piece which goes into the bar to prevent them from rotating.
