Why is it, that they always manage to hit right in the line of sight....

This is one reason why riding in the cooler months is so much better Laughing

I know i would rather battle with a steamed up visor, than one covered in dead inscets... At least with the steam, you can open the visor. With the other tis dangerous, even when hungry Shocked

i dunno how they do it, always right in the visor lol.

saw a few guys with open face helmets today, sucks to be them if they get one right in the mouth or up the nose Very Happy mind you they were on vespa's so i doubt they would have been ripping it up like i was...

scares the shite out of you when a large BANG hits you right in the face, how can something so small make such a noise Very Happy

hmm.. you need to try a lot harder... i once managed to have the full side profile of a good sized fly.. it looked like a diagram from a science book...
also once i found some unidentifiable green/yellow goo size of my thumb on my shoulder.. it had a leg and a wing in it... who knows...

im sure someone on here managed to hit a bird.. thats hard to beat (in the flying creatures class)

They're a pain in the ass off the road too. In karting they smash me in the face.

Annoying when concentrating!

The big, unexpected ones scare the crap out of me. When I am just pottle-ing along having a chill and WHANG off the visor or worse visor-up and WHACK of face or shades. Feckers.

Wait till you smash into a bumble bee, they make a real crash, makes you think you're heads gonna come off, they also make a real mess.

Call that a fly cover?

Go riding through the shady mountain roads of north wales mate, midge tastic.

Amazing how freaked out girls get about fly genocide helmets. Especially as I tend to wear plain white helmets, so it /really/ stands out.

Worst I've had was a big moth for vision, damn that thing detonated.

I know you probs shouldn't do this; but I use car wax on my visor. There is no glare or anything and it prevents any scratches being annoying in the light.
But best of all, when bugs splat I just use the side of my glove and it just wipes off with no mess Smile
