After a temper fit from my now ex gaffer and me i decided minimum wage wasnt enough for the job and certainly not enough to be spoken to like shit so i jacked it.

Maybe not the best choice in the current climate but i got a new job yesterday! How lucky is that?

Servicing cars, changing tires and valeting etc, i get a basic wage equal to my last job and a share of labour costs for each service, tire change, valet etc.

So in a way its part mine, its for a mate, its a new part of his business and he wants me to build it up with the benefit of his vast experience. Got to go in this week and set the kitted out workshop up how i want it, first service booked in for saturday!

Happy days indeed. Mr. Green

Nice one mate. You've got a real opportunity here! Thumbs Up If this goes well, it seems like it could end up with you basically running a section of this blokes business. It's just getting the customers in!

Where are ya? My car could do with some work. The rear lights are going mad! Mr. Green

Most people get a gold clock after 25 years in the same job, you might get one if you stay in a job for 25 weeks. Laughing

Wow fairplay guv not to bad eh?
Thanks for sharing that, a glimmer of hope... Just goes to show there is a light somewhere in all this gloom.
I'm still stuck in my job at the moment but desperately wanting to find another and fast so that I can free my money up a bit... Phoned around 10 places in the past two days and nothing. Crying or Very sad
Like others have said I hope it goes well and it may turn out to be something for ya Thumbs Up
