New to me wheel arrived today.

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=350191635783

My bike is a 1983 suzuki gs 125. Turns out this wheel is 17 inch rim not 18 inch like mine.
The hub looks the same but I want to know if Suzuki ever made different sized hubs for these wheels. The wheel look identical apart from a bit smaller.

Will I just have a little bit more acceleration then or will it not fit?

Cheers Karma

You are going to go to Hinstock tomorrow and when you get the wheel on ( at that instant you will get a puncture )
I promise !
Its like a rule with your bike now.

Got home.

OMG, the acceleration. Insane. I got the front wheel off the ground in 1st and 2nd because I am lazy with the clutch setting off.

Top speed dropped to 55. 62 red lining it though Embarassed

I don't bloody believe it!

Another puncture. I resort to buying a WHOLE NEW WHEEL and I get a puncture in the first FUCKING DAY! FUCK.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Im so pissed off right now.

EDIT: Pumped it up Wednesday at 12 noon. Fitted it Thursday morning. Ridden round all day, done about 40 miles. Still hard. 3 hours after leaving it, It is soft. I pump it up again, go for a ride, get back and its softer. I refill and leave. 3 hours later its still hard Confused Confused

Nope. Just whacked the wheel on.

I think me changing it is causing all the punctures even though I am extra careful when replacing the tube and tyre.

Pissing me off now. I may just take both wheels to a garage with 2 new tyres and 2 new tubes and say fit them! How much would that cost?

This is being weird now. It has stayed inflated for several hours now?????????

I am thinking tyre valve what with centrifugal force pushing it outwards at those insane speed I do.
