I've been wondering myself - many of his posts make me chuckle because they are (unintentionally) amusing (R1 throttle etc), but recently he seems to have managed to be actually funny.
It has surprised me enough that i commented on it in this thread - twice in one thread, new BCF record etc?
Perhaps he just needed a 'nemesis' (in the form of Shaun) to bring out his dormant humourous side.

I reckon that Colin being funny is like the male bird's plumage and song in the Spring to attract potential mates.

Shaun's thread on his female attracting/observation one liners has galvanised him and by being humorous he's hoping to attract a better class of female!

For some strange reason, I read everyones post with what I think is a suitable voice for them,(in my head of course) and for some wierd and random reason colin always comes out as Cleveland off family guy.

Anyone else see a reasemblance?

Well depends on the post i'm reading. And cleveland is the black one. Who is always sedate and talks with a funnish voice.

Hellkat - yours is a very brisk but light voice with annotations of deepness on some words.

Where as someone like Hetzer is rather dark and husk.
