Now, I know in my owners manual it will say, if I could find it, but roughly, how often should it be serviced, it is a Yamaha TW125, but a rough idea will be okay, although either way, I will have it done soon, as I will be selling it within the family, and want to make sure it is all good Very Happy

Hi

Small 4 stroke. At a guess an oil and filter change around 2000 miles, maybe 3000 at the most. Clean air filter at same time. Spark plug and adjust valves every other oil change.

All the best

Keith

Having bought ut new, it had its 600/6 weeks service, a while back, having just broken 2000 miles (enjoyed every one of them) I figured it may be time to send it back in, so I think I will with that advice, thanks Very Happy
Oil is still above the bottom marker, but not by far, so guess the timing is pretty much well on.
Although I know those little mechanics are going to stiffen the clutch up like last time, which will mean I have to re-adjust to it Rolling Eyes

The oil level should ALWAYS be above the minimum mark, and truthfully shouldn't go down that much if at all.

If it ever gets too low ensure you top it up.

That would involve working out how to, and I am a noob, and I don't want to mess things up, so I let them do it when they service it, and it tends to last for 1.4k miles, so, well yeah :<
