Very stupid MOT question

Never put a bike with fairings through an MOT before.

Lets say for arguments sake that half your front fairing is gaffa taped together.

MOT failure I'd imagine?

Must be secure too, so if it's gaffer tapped on and flaps about it'll probably fail.
