Hey guys, I will be looking to buy a set of cans for my Firestorm in a few months time and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I kind of want them to be of an angle similar to a SP1 (i.e. steeper than OEM) but I'm not sure who makes them like this.

I don't want high levels, they look good but I will be taking pillions on the back fairly often (the missus mainly!)

I'm all ears...

Joe

Joe

Just got my storm on Friday.

It has the end baffles drilled out (probably a 10min. job). A fair bit louder than standard and a bit fruitier! I think there is a video on youtube of modified standard exhausts - look for it.

A good, cheap way to 'release the beast' if you will. Piece of piss to do.

Having said that, I have a pair of carbon stubby cans in my drawer here just begging to go on. Mr. Green

The standard cans will suffice.

Your missing the point.... I don't want them for power/performance, purely noise and looks, vain I know but...

I have seen them drilled, also with the entire baffle removed which I was thinking of doing but I might keep the originals for MOT purposes.

All the best, Joe

That's the sort of exhuast I'm looking for, does anybody know of any other manufacturer that makes them like that? Call it high angle I suppose?

Friend had blue flame high levels on his VTR, though they werent worth the pricetag, as they took some arsing to fit, and didnt look that great.

The beowulf cans sound nice on my tl, and theyre well priced.

Not a chance. Mr. Green

There is NOT a lot up for grabs on eBay at the moment, they are VERY scarce!

I've got twin Remus cans. Love them. But they came with the bike. If I had to choose I'd always go for Arrow. They are the best sounding and amongst the top for performance.

Had ART Stainless ones on the Storm I used to ride, was loud enough to set off car alarms. They were standard level.
