Last year there were a few different races depending on which day you went. Clio Cup Cars and Megane Cup Cars and also formula3 cars were there. Quite a good day last year. Only bad part i can think of iks those who drive there in cars, there were masses of traffic queing up for ages.

It says the driver and vehicle and up to four passengers, I guess you have to go by car or can you go up by bike?

I'm heading to this with some mates this year, although I'm not allowed to do the driving, as last year I impaled my car on a van's towbar about 3 miles short of the entrance whilst attempting to win a tense game of gash hunt...

Was quite a good couple of days last year. Depending on what day you go. WHen i went the first day was qualifying and the second was all the racing. Found it quite good but sometimes boring. Also depends on what stand your in if it rains. Walking around the pits was good, You got to get autographs if you could get through the crowd. (Y)

I think there is, but I think it's in the grounds of Whittlebury Hall IIRC.

There's Billing but that's 10 mins or so ride away

Billing's fine if you can handle the smell of Ecton sewerage works that's right next door.

Depending where you're coming from, F2 Motorcycles isn't far :-

Quote:
The camp site behind F2 Motorcycles is open all year, rates per night are £3.00 for a tent with one person and £5.00 for a tent with two people. There is a pub that does food five minutes walk away, and the site has a shower and loo.
To book the camp site, please phone 01295 711288.

Lol! Stayed at Billing quite a few times over the last 10 years and never noticed a bad smell - that's probably because a) I'm too pissed most of the time I'm there and b) by day 2 I'm the bad smell Shocked

Cheers for the info - may consider going both days and staying over now Thumbs Up

I've stayed at Whittlebury Hall the last couple of years I've been to Silverstone. It's ideal as it's only a ten minute walk through a couple of fields to get to the track, its got loadsa of people camping there normally ( ideal for a cheeky perv on filthsters who are there with their parents), and the pubs only a five minute walk away. Thumbs Up

Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to camp.

Is it worth booking in advanced or could you just turn up there and get a pitch?

A bit gutted, got my free tickets but and was looking forward to a few days out with the kids but we're a bit to skint to go so I've got 4 tickets looking for a good home.

Let me know if they'd be of use to anybody please, sad to let them go to waste.

Anyone know how many tickets have been given away for this meeting?

I'm going to be camping with a few mates. The campsite I want to go to doesn't take bookings, and we won't be getting there 'til Saturday morning. The campsite is Litchlake Farm. Anyone else camped here before, if so how busy was it when you went?
